What changed, and when

Predct is a simulator, so changes to the pricing engine change historical comparability. Every engine revision is listed here.

  1. v1.7.0

    6 August 2026
    • Margin floor: every parlay is now priced off whichever joint probability is less generous — market price or Predct model — so no leg combination can be priced in the trader's favour.
    • Payouts round down to the cent and multipliers are capped at 2,000x, closing rounding and long-tail leaks.
    • House ledger reports gross result, hold rate and the cost of free credit top-ups.
    • Slip replaces the Kelly tile with break-even hit rate and the stated platform margin; pricing engine, how it works, FAQ and the risk disclosure updated to match.
    • Automated house-edge regression suite simulates diversified, correlated and hedged books to prove the return cap holds.

    6 August 2026
    • Engine returns to a single all-or-nothing parlay: one multiplier, one win chance, every leg has to land.
    • The payout ladder, the risk dial and cash out have been removed from pricing, settlement and the slip.
    • Positions opened while the ladder existed keep settling under their original rungs, so past balances and P&L are never rewritten.
    • How it works, the pricing engine page and the FAQ rewritten around the single-multiplier parlay.

    • Brand icon set: SVG favicon, PNG fallback, Apple touch icon and a web manifest for installable home-screen use.
    • Social preview image plus canonical and Open Graph URLs on every public route; private routes marked noindex.
    • Page skeletons on dashboard and portfolio remove the blank flash before local data hydrates.

    • Accounts persist per device: signing out clears the session only, and signing back in restores your exact balance and history.
    • New credit economy — 250 credits granted once at sign-up, and a top-up to 100 credits available every 24 hours while you are below 25.
    • Unlimited resets replaced by an explicit account reset that clears positions and history.
